The first restaurant opened in November 13 2010 and is located on Jinji Lake in the Suzhou Industrial Park area with lake views and a beautiful setting of gardens and meadows near Rainbow Walk. In the evening, when the city is lit up, the surrounding environment is truly impressive, and during the spring and summer you can enjoy the outdoor terrace. Ample parking. The nearest subway station is Dongfang Zhimen (SIP).

The menu is available in Italian, Chinese and English and is rich and varied, make sure you don't leave the premises without having tasted the authentic Neapolitan Pizza cooked in a wood oven with genuine buffalo mozzarella. Our Pizza is authentically Neapolitan, and as we like to remember, that is where the Pizza Margherita was born. The pasta is cooked al dente and following original Italian recipes like the rest of the dishes.

The philosophy of Mammamia! is to take care in selecting products so they are wholesome, high quality and imported directly from Italy and to provide our clients with caring and attentive service. The Italian style is to be savoured not only with the food but also the furniture and aesthetics of the room.

— Legend of the Pizza Margherita —

"The legend says that in 1871 the Pizza maker Raffaele Esposito was ordered to cook Neapolitan Pizzas for the King Umberto of Savoy and his court. He cooked different kind of pizzas and his wife decided to add a special one, made with tomato, mozzarella and basil, to remind the Italian National Flag's colours in honour of Queen Margherita. She loved it so much, that Mr. Espositio, the pizza maker, decided to give it her name and to call it Pizza Margherita.
